This is a topic Al-Anon meeting on the 4 Phases to Growth featuring four speakers (all men). I couldn't find out a lot about this other than it was a 34th. Annual Conference held in Michigan sometime in 1986. I assume it was an Al-Anon conference since all the other speakers I have from it identify as Al-Anon.

Lastly it cleaned up really well and is an easy listen but during the last 2 speakers there is an occasional crackling popping sound I couldn't remove, its not that annoying...fyi.

This is one section of a 4th Step Workshop that was held in Mankato Minnesota in 2008, this speak is specifically on the resentment portion of the step. I dont have much information about this workshop.

Walter is the 10 min opening speaker, he has been sober for just over 3 years, followed by Alissa as the speaker for the balance of the meeting, she has been sober for 4 years. They are both speaking at the North Oakland AA Open speaker meeting held in Oakland California in March of 2018. NSFW

This sounds a bit fuzzy for the first 4 min then it clears right up. This one is a bit of AA history and a bit of nostalgia for your podcaster since I was at this meeting. In 1995 AA held its 60th Anniversary Conference in San Diego California with 56,000 people in attendance.

The theme for the convention was A.A. Everywhere – Anywhere. It was the very first time many Eastern European countries had been able to attend an international AA event including Russia. This meeting features members speaking about their first encounter with AA and the founding of AA in multiple Eastern Europe countries and in Russia.

This is a 4th Step Workshop held in Mankato Minnesota in 2008 hosted by an unknown group, this part of the workshop focuses specifically on the sex conduct portion. This was a very straightforward presentation going through the topic with a sentence by sentence breakdown from the big book with a solid lack of opinion by the two guys that hosted it. If anyone out there has a workshop on this topic presented by women I would love to post that, please email me.

In 1942, Ed W. began teaching the “Twelve Step Study” classes that helped the Minneapolis Group achieve their 75% recovery rate. Then in 1946, he and Barry C. (The first sober A.A. in the state) published the lectures used for these classes as a book. Initially titled The Twelve Steps, it was affectionately nicknamed “The little red book.”
