This is from the 2012 Primetime Mens Retreat held in Joshua Tree California. During the retreat twelve speakers each take a step, the speaks are 20-30 min long and I have combined 2 steps into each day giving us a 6 day series.

I havent posted a longer one episode workshop in a while. So today we have Willie B from Spring Texas leading a 12 step Workshop based out of the 12x12 rather than the Big Book. I think this was recorded in 2004 (cant say for sure), if you know please email me. If thats the case Willie was sober 47 years at the time she presented this workshop. This runs just under seven hours.

In 1942, Ed W. began teaching the “Twelve Step Study” classes that helped the Minneapolis Group achieve their 75% recovery rate. Then in 1946, he and Barry C. (The first sober A.A. in the state) published the lectures used for these classes as a book. Initially titled The Twelve Steps, it was affectionately nicknamed “The little red book.”

Back in print for the first time in more than 65 years, the original 1946 edition reveals firsthand how some of A.A.’s earliest members made the program their way of life.
