I was really interested in this workshop simply because its not a topic that gets a lot of discussion, this is led by three very popular speakers. We have Steve L from Tennessee, Sharon C from California and lastly Bob D from Nevada. They do a really great job on this topic and there are even a few good laughs along the way. This workshop was presented live in Berlin Germany by Texas T, in August of 2023 on the topic of Ego Factors and More, based on the Tiebout Papers (not AA approved literature), this is part 2. In case you are not familiar with Dr Tiebout:

"Dr. Harry M. Tiebout, a psychiatrist, was an early pioneer in coupling the principles and philosophy of Alcoholics Anonymous with psychiatric knowledge of alcoholism. A strong supporter of A.A. throughout his life, he consistently worked for acceptance of his views concerning alcoholism the medical and psychiatric professions. He served on the Board of Trustees for A.A. from 1957 to 1966, and was chairman of the National Council on Alcoholism in 1950."

In 1942, Ed W. began teaching the “Twelve Step Study” classes that helped the Minneapolis Group achieve their 75% recovery rate. Then in 1946, he and Barry C. (The first sober A.A. in the state) published the lectures used for these classes as a book. Initially titled The Twelve Steps, it was affectionately nicknamed “The little red book.”
