This is part two of a two part workshop about the Big Book that has a ton of AA history also has a great message of hope and recovery. This was part of the The 50th Anniversary of the Big Book.
Ruth (one of the earliest female members of AA) opens this up talking about getting sober in the very early days of AA spending time with Bill W and how it felt like a secret society
Bob S Jr (Dr. Bobs son) is the next speaker and he is a 20 year member of Al-anon, his wife has been sober for 19 years, he is an active Al-non member and very involved in service. He was there for the first meeting between Bill W and Dr Bob.

This is not an AA meeting so if you need to hear a meeting just now please choose another Sober Cast Episode. For the AA history buffs, this is a phone interview with Henrietta Seiberling the woman that arranged the first meeting between founders Bill W. and Bob S.
I was unable to find any context but it is a 1971 Interview with her son John Seiberling, she passed away in 1979. This picks up having already started and ends abruptly with the phone being hung up mid sentence (I assume accidently).
Judy R from Norman OK speaking at the Gulf Coast Roundup in Biloxi MS in Jan of 1999.
Dick P speaking at the Erie spring conference in 1987, he was sober 32 years at the time of this speak he got sober in 1940.
Blind Dave A. speaking at the 14th Annual Mouth of the Brazos Conference in Lake Jackson TX in May of 2009.
Elaine S is the speaker and she is telling her story at 10 years sober at the time of this meeting at an unknown location in Oct of 2012.
I have one of these and it is one of my favorite items, a really excellent and useful for book study meetings or as a gift to a newcomer who is going to be heading to one.
