Gail L from Akron Ohio is speaking at the Second Liberty Bell Roundup in June of 2013. Gail is an AA archivist and historian, her speak is about AA History. She became sober in May of 1978, her presentation at the 2013 Second Liberty Bell Roundup contained photos but not having them does not detract from the speak.

Nell Wing is likely someone you have never heard of, she began working at AA World Headquarters in 1947, she is speaking at the first Monterey California Roundup in September of 1993. She tends to verbally wander around a bit but there are some interesting bits of AA history mixed in as well, I was particularly amused by her Ebby story.

Emotional Sobriety is todays topic and we have a number speakers sharing about it, first Don L from Bellingham WA, then Marti R plus 3 additional speakers followed by a bit of Q and A. This was recorded at the 25th Mouth of the Brazos Conference held in Lake Jackson Texas in 2021. NSFW

With Speaker Potluck, just like in a real meeting you dont know what you are going to hear, till you do. I grabbed four 15min speakers without listening to them in advance, then created the audio. You get what you get, enjoy.

Bill J is telling his story at the 2004 Rhode Island State Convention Old Timers Meeting he was sober 25 years at the time of this share. Someone named Brian sent this to me, he was a very good friend of Bill and described this as "an honest and deeply emotional, moving and inspiring share about his recovery"

Every now and then you hear a speaker in AA and for whatever reason what they said really resonates with you and makes an impression that stays with you for forever, this guy is one of those folks for me. I only heard him speak live once at an AA Roundup in San Francisco "around" 1986 (give or take a year or 2). Last year I reposted the one speak I had from him and shortly after I got an email offering me this recording from 2004 and they were kind enough to mail me the cd so I could rip it for you. I have had this for almost a year and the last day of pride month seems like the perfect time to post it.
This is Robyn W from Chicago speaking at an All Timers Dinner held in Niles Illinois held at the end of September of 2004. LGBTQ

Angie D from Blythe California is the speaker at the Thursday Night Speaker meeting held in Las Vegs Nevada in July of 2005. I have had a number speaks by Angie on the podcast over the years and she never fails to deliver a solid message with grace and humor despite her at times difficult story.

I have one of these and it is one of my favorite items, a really excellent and useful for book study meetings or as a gift to a newcomer who is going to be heading to one.
