This year's convention theme is Living Sober.

We have full Al-Anon participation, early bird meetings, beach meditations, Public Information workshops, Young People in AA meetings, LGBTQ+ meetings (Trad 3 inclusive), bumper raffle, evening entertainment, and powerful recovery of sharing experience, strength, and hope with over 500 fellowship members.

Situated in the middle of the Costa Del Sol, Fuengirola is one of the most popular tourist towns in the Málaga region. Its origins can be traced to Phoenician, Roman, and Moorish civilisations where it was an essential trading hub. During the 10th to 12th century the iconic Sohail Castle, which still graces the town skyline, was built. Located at the mouth of Fuengirola river, it is in walking distance of the convention hotel.

Before the tourist boom Fuengirola was a small fishing village situated between the beautiful Mediterranean coastline and the Sierra De Mijas. Now it is the most popular resort on the Costa Del Sol where tourists can happily relax exploring the town whilst stopping to eat fresh gastronomic delights (tapas, paella, calamari...) surrounded by the warm and welcoming ambiance, and experiencing impeccable service.

Also recommended are the cheap cafés where clients can stop to refresh, eat a small sandwich, or indulge in the spectacular Churros con Chocolate.
